Sarantos Psykakos joined HCAA in 2021. He was appointed Head of the Charts, Obstacles and Infrastructure Section of ATM/ANS and Aerodromes Oversight Division in February 2022, later becoming Head of the Heliports, Charts and Obstacles Section.

He is involved in the certification and continuous oversight activities of the Authority as an aerodromes inspector. Currently, he is also the National Standardisation Coordinator of Greece.

Before joining HCAA, he worked for the Hellenic Aviation Service Provider (HASP), initially in airport operations of regional aerodromes and later in the Charts and Obstacles Section of the Airports Division. He has also worked as a civil engineer for a period of six years, mainly in the private sector.

He holds a BEng in Civil Engineering, an MSc(Eng) in Structural Dynamics and an MBA.
