Reducing greenhouse gas emissions is one of the major drivers for our planet sustainability. Current climate and environmental-related challenges require an urgent and ambitious response.

The European Union has committed to achieving climate neutrality by 2050 and set a number of goals for climate change, for the milestone years 2020, 2030 and 2050.

The European Green Deal, as presented in 2019, sets the goal of reducing emissions by 50% to 55% by 2030, as well as zeroing net greenhouse gas emissions by 2050.
