Safety Information Advisory Notices (SIAN) are issued by the SMOR Section of HCAA either directly or after cooperation with the Competent Sections(s) of the HCAA by way of example and not limited:

• notification of relevant EASA SIBs or SDs as well as relevant safety advice/instructions issued by other organisations or states and assessed to be applicable in Greece,
• after a relevant analysis of safety incidents in cooperation with the relevant Competent Section(s) of HCAA identified a safety issue that needs to be addressed (not immediately) by the agencies,
• deemed necessary in the context of safety promotion.
