Upgrading and Downgrading

  1. Change to a higher class

If an airline places you in a class higher than the one for which the ticket was purchased, it may not require additional payment.

  1. Change to a lower class

If the airline places you in a lower class than the one for which you bought the ticket, it shall reimburse within seven (7) days:

  • for short-haul flights (up to 1500 km): 30% of the ticket price
  • for medium distance flights (from 1500 to 3500 km): 50% of the ticket price
  • for long-haul flights (over 3500 km): 75% of the ticket price

Note: If two or more connecting flights are included in a single ticket, the fare may be refunded only for the flight for which a seat was downgraded and not for the entire journey.
