The Hellenic Civil Aviation Authority (HCAA) is the authority responsible for planning, developing, and monitoring the implementation of the National Civil Aviation Security Program (NCASP) as well as the National Competent Authority for coordinating and monitoring the implementation of European and International Civil Aviation Security legislations concerning unlawful actions.

The Hellenic Civil Aviation Authority is responsible for the regulation, approval and supervision of all entities involved in the implementation of the National Civil Aviation Security Program such as airports / waterairports, air carriers, regulated agents, regulated in-flight suppliers, private security companies and their staff.
