Chrysa Papathoma

Chrysa Papathoma was born in Athens in 1968 and comes from Boeotia.

She studied "Human Resources Management and Business Administration" with specialization in Economics at the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens and then graduated from the Postgraduate Department of Economics Science, International and European Economic Studies and Management Science and Technology of the Athens University of Economics and Business.

From 1987 until August 2006, she worked as an executive officer and as an Economist in Directorates of Financial and Administrative Support at Organizations supervised by the Hellenic Ministry of Infrastructure and Transport.

From September 2006 until June 2018, she performed duties as an Inspector-Controller at the Inspectors-Controllers Body of the Ministry on Transport and Communications (currently the Hellenic Ministry of Infrastructure and Transport). During her responsibilities as Inspector, she carried out management audits as a coordinator with Joint Audit Teams, established with Ministerial Decisions by the Ministers of: a) Finance and b) Infrastructure and Transport. In 2017, she was also appointed as representative of the Ministry of Infrastructure and Transport, in the context of an investigation conducted by the Thessaloniki Security Directorate.

From October 2021 until April 2022, she performed parallel duties at ERGA OSE SA and the Hellenic Civil Aviation Authority (HCAA) as administrative assistant  to the Governor and the Executive Board of the HCAA.

With the HCAA Governor’s Decision (ref. No HCAA 1034/22/06.05.2022), she was designated as Head of the Human Resources, Training-Education and Archives Department of HCAA.
