The Hellenic Civil Aviation Authority (HCAA) and the Air Accident Investigation & Aviation Safety Board (AAIASB) of Greece have signed a Memorandum of Cooperation (MoC), with the aim of strengthening cooperation between the two agencies, fostering the transfer of know-how and providing for the management and investigation of occurrences in civil aviation.

The MoC is expected to improve the management of safety data and streamline cooperation in issues related to the State Safety Programme and the National Plan for Aviation Safety, ultimately leading to an improvement in the levels of safety in the aviation industry.
