On January 28th, the Safety Management and Occurrence Reporting Section of HCAA organised a meeting on HCAA premises, with representatives from Air Training Organizations, Declared Training Organizations, Hellenic Air Navigation Service Providers, and the relevant Sections of HCAA participating.

The topics discussed during the meeting were:

1. VFR air traffic in Hellenic airspace and especially in the Terminal Areas of large airports.

2. VFR charts (accuracy/revisions) and regional VFR charts.

3. Coverage of IR training requirements by ATOs.

The meeting was according to relevant actions of the Hellenic Plan of Aviation Safety (EL.0501 d) i, f),  j) vii, EL.0802 a), b), c), d)).

During the meeting, HCAA Governor Dr. Chr. Tsitouras welcomed the attendees. He emphasised that HCAA is trying to maintain a high level of aviation safety, and such meetings help to achieve this goal.
