The Governor of the Hellenic Civil Aviation Authority, Dr. Christos Tsitouras, held a meeting with the Director of the Department of Civil Aviation of the Republic of Cyprus, Mrs. Panayiota Georgiou-Demetriou, on the sidelines of the EASA Management Board Meeting that took place in the EASA Headquarters in Cologne, Germany, between the 1^st and 2^nd June 2022.

The agenda included the co-operation between the two Authorities in various areas of common interest, as well as issues related to the BLUE MED regional project for the implementation of the Single European Sky (SES) over the Mediterranean Area.

Additional discussions, further exploring areas of possible synergies, are expected to take place between the HCAA and the DCA Cyprus in the near future.
