On 14 & 15 November 2023, Wings of Change Europe, organized by IATA and KLM Royal Dutch Airlines, took place in Amsterdam. The HCAA Governor, Mr. Christos Tsitouras and the General Director of Economic Oversight and Administrative Support, Mrs. Kalliopi Lykou participated in the event.

Wings of Change Europe (WoCE) is an event where aviation leaders, regulators and aviation experts convene to discuss the top issues of air transport and jointly agree on future actions for the development of air transport. From Greece, the companies Fraport Greece, Aegean and Sky Express also had an active presence.

In particular, WoCE23 focused on the required civil aviation action plan to improve its environmental and economic sustainability. This overall plan includes the environment, infrastructure and capacity, as well as the passenger travel experience. The flagship European event focused on industry leaders and policy makers and became the stage for critical discussions on shaping the air transport of the future. In addition, HCAA on the sidelines of the conference held bilateral meetings with officials of the European Commission, ICAO, IATA and other national authorities.
