The HCAA Governor, Dr. Christos Tsitouras, went to Riyadh, in order to participate in the Future Aviation Forum, organized by GACA (General Authority of Civil Aviation) of Saudi Arabia and held from May 20 to 22, 2024.
FAF 2024 focused on “Increasing Global Connectivity” and had the primary objective of strengthening aviation cooperation through global partnerships, promoting innovation, sustainable air travel and cultural exchange. The Forum acted as a focal point of meeting for experts of the international firmament in the field of aviation and adjacent industries to offer valuable exchange of knowledge and experience as well as business opportunities in a dynamic and critical economic sector.
The forum was attended by more than 5,000 aviation experts and leaders from more than 100 countries, including ministers, regulators, senior officials of ICAO, IATA, ACI, representatives of all the world's major manufacturers, airlines and airports. Within the framework of the forum, numerous important agreements were signed, while global trade announcements were made.
