The EASA Management Board Meeting 2025-02 took place between the 9th and 10th December at the Agency’s headquarters in Cologne, Germany. Greece, as a member of the Management Board, was represented by the Governor of the Hellenic Civil Aviation Authority, Dr. Christos Tsitouras and the Deputy General Director of Aviation Activities, Mr. Angelos Beligiannis. During the meeting, the Executive Director, Mr. Florian Guillermet, presented a comprehensive report on the Agency’s activities over the previous six months.
The Board addressed a range of strategic and operational matters, including the recent urgent retrofit of the A320 family aircraft, acknowledging the effective coordination across the aviation system and agreeing to undertake a review of lessons learned. The Board also received a presentation by Mr. Enrique Fraile-Riesco, Chief of Staff of EUROCONTROL, on EASA–EUROCONTROL cooperation as a central element of the “Trajectory 2030” strategy. Furthermore, the Management Board approved the Agency’s Single Programming Document for the period 2026–2028, including the associated budgetary and resource decisions, and elected Ms. Ana Vieira da Mata, Chairwoman of the Board of Directors of ANAC, as its new Chair, while Ms. Anelia Marinova continues to serve as Vice Chair.
