On Tuesday, September 17, the Deputy Minister of Infrastructure & Transport, Mr. Vassilis Oikonomou, visited the offices of the Hellenic Civil Aviation Authority with his staff and met with the Governor, Mr. Christos Tsitouras.  Critical issues of common interest were discussed and the planning of targeted actions in the future was agreed. The COO of Athens International Airport "Eleftherios Venizelos", Mr. Alexandros Aravanis, also participated in the meeting, who informed about the performance of the airport during the tourist season. At the meeting, it was pointed out that the coordinated action plan of all involved bodies is the most reliable guarantee for the development of air transport, the protection of the environment and the promotion of safety in civil aviation, with society as the final recipient.
