On Wednesday 25 September 2024, a six-member delegation of the Civil Aviation Administration of China, led by the Deputy Administrator (ministerial level), Mr. Han Jun, visited the Hellenic Civil Aviation Authority. The purpose of the visit was to explore the possibility of expanding cooperation in the field of civil aviation and further promoting air connections between Greece and China, within the framework of the modern and liberated environment established by the new Air Services Agreement, signed on 3 November 2023 in Beijing.

The possibility of multiple designation that the new ASA will provide to the airlines of both sides, allows them to operate directly from any points in Greece and to any points in China, and vice versa, establishing the legal framework for the creation of new routes that will benefit both consumers and businesses. 

The meeting took place in a cordial atmosphere, during which the Chinese side made a presentation on the development of civil aviation in China.
