The mission of the Authority includes certification and oversight in the fields of air transport, air navigation and airports, as well as compliance with international, European and national legislation on safety, aviation security, environmental protection and economic regulation of the aviation industry.

The Governor of the HCAA, Dr. Christos Tsitouras, stated:

"The Hellenic Civil Aviation Authority continuously invests in developing the skills and competences of its personnel through training that provides high added value. These targeted programs enhance our operational capacity and ensure that the level of the certification and oversight activities performed to the Greek aviation industry stakeholders is maintained at the highest possible level.

We warmly thank TÜV HELLAS (TÜV NORD) and its team for the high level of training and cooperation, which contributes substantially to the effective execution of our demanding tasks, as defined by national, European and international legislation”.

Savvas Peltekis, CEO of TÜV HELLAS (TÜV NORD) stated:

“It is a great honor to cooperate with the Hellenic Civil Aviation Authority and contribute to the development of the Authority's personnel, through the provision of training. This cooperation enhances the ability of HCAA executives to meet the modern requirements of the civil aviation sector. The trust and continuous support from the HCAA is for us a recognition of the high quality of our services and our commitment to contribute to the development of the sector in Greece and internationally”.
