Invitation to a consultation on the imposition of public service obligations in respect to scheduled air services within Greece._

The Hellenic Civil Aviation Authority (HCAA) is going to carry out a new electronic tender for the selection of contractor/s for the "operation of scheduled air routes that have been granted a public service obligation":

  1. Thessaloniki – Corfu
  2. Corfu – Aktio – Kefalonia – Zakynthos
  3. Limnos – Mytilini – Chios – Samos – Rhodos
  4. Rhodos – Kos - Kalymnos – Leros – Astypalaia
  5. Rhodos – Karpathos – Kasos – Siteia
  6. Rhodos – Kastelorizo
  7. Athens – Kozani – Kastoria
  8. Thessaloniki – Kalamata – Kithira

In addition, a study has been completed for the integration of the line:

  1. Ioannina – Heraklion

in a public service regime with the following public service obligations proposed by the HCAA, in accordance with article 16 of EC1008/2008:

Minimum flight frequency and minimum seats offered:

Three (3) return flights per week, with a total of 90 seats offered per week in each direction, during the low season.

Four (4) return flights per week, with a total of 120 seats offered per week in each direction, during the average season.

Six (6) return flights per week, with a total of 180 seats offered per week in each direction, during the high summer season.
