The Hellenic Civil Aviation Authority (HCAA) invites expressions of interest for cooperation with an external associate, specializing in Meteorology.

Required Qualifications

• At least ten (10) years of proven professional experience in the provision of operational meteorological services.
• Excellent knowledge and proven implementation of the requirements of European SES legislation for Aeronautical Meteorology, as well as relevant ICAO Standards.
• Experience in policy development and strategic planning in positions of responsibility within the field of Aeronautical Meteorology.
• Excellent command of the English language.

Desirable Qualifications

• At least five (5) years of proven professional experience in Meteorological Services for Air Navigation.
• Significant experience participating in international meteorological fora and familiarity with the respective international environment.
• Experience and familiarity with inspection procedures in the field of Aeronautical Meteorology conducted by international organizations or other authorities.
• Excellent command of the Greek language.
• Computer literacy.
