The Minister of Digital Governance Kyriakos Pierrakakis visited the new premises of the HCAA at Athens International Airport in the presence of the leadership of Athens International Airport, which marks the start of the implementation of the cooperation agreement between the Ministry of Digital Governance, the Information Society and the HCAA. The digitization of the archive of the HCAA and upgrading its digital interaction with airports and airlines are the subject of the Authority's cooperation with the Ministry of Digital Governance.

The HCAA assisted in infrastructure matters by the Athens International Airport, is now a "case study" for the competent Ministry of Digital Governance.

The Minister, Mr. Kyriakos Pierrakakis, highlighted the actions of the Ministry of Digital Governance that focus on upgrades of the network security infrastructure and the ERP systems of the Greek State.

The HCAA Governor, Dr. Christos Tsitouras, expressed his satisfaction for this cooperation and thanked the competent Minister for the immediate response of all units of the Ministry of Digital Governance.

Mr. Yiannis Paraschis, CEO and Mr. Rihardos Lampiris, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the company "Athens International Airport S.A.", emphasized the importance of new technologies in terms of safety and security in the aviation ecosystem.

The meeting was also attended by Advisors to the Minister, the members of the HCAA Executive Board, executives of the Athens International Airport, the Administration and the staff of the Authority.
