Meeting of the HCAA Management with the General Secretary of Transport of the Ministry of Infrastructure and Transport

On 8-2-2023 the General Secretary of Transport of the Ministry of Infrastructure and Transport, Ioannis Xifaras visited the new offices of the Civil Aviation Authority in building 45 of the Athens International Airport. The General Secretary was informed in detail by the Governor of HCAA Dr. Christos Tsitouras on the progress of the Authority's work, the start of the implementation of digitization actions in cooperation with the Ministry of Digital Governance and the Information Society, the cooperation with GEA and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs on matters of national interest, international contacts and the progress of inspections.

The General Secretary took a tour of the new office premises, referred to the actions of the Ministry of Infrastructure and Transport that assist the work of the HCAA as well as to the more general developments in the air transport sector of the country and the initiatives of the YME for modernization, new technologies and consolidating the excellent performance of the country in the air navigation sector which exceeded the corresponding European performances during the summer period 2022, realizing a full recovery in comparison with the Pandemic period.
