On March 15, 2024, the second information meeting of the Flight Operations Department was held at the Authority's facilities. The purpose of the meeting was to provide information regarding the revision of EU Regulation (EU) 965/2012 with the amendment (EU) 2018/1042.

The objective of this review is to ensure the medical fitness of flight crew and cabin crew members, as well as the implementation of a crew mental support program.

As part of the conference, a presentation of the corresponding legislation was made by the Head of the Flight Operations Section, Ioannis Triantafillou. This was followed by a detailed presentation of this application by the Authority's Aeromedical Examiners (AME) Kalliopi Galanopoulou (Head of the Aeromedical Section), Dimitrios Dovris and Odysseas Papaefthymiou (GR AME 10036).

The Accountable Manager of Sky Express, G. Lioubis, presented the way of implementing the specific revision in his company, while all the participants - representatives of the air carriers expressed a strong interest in responding to the requirements of the regulation and complying with this amendment.
