
Grigorios Giampanis joined the new Hellenic Civil Aviation Authority in May 2022 and was appointed Head of the newly established Section of “Financial Management”. The goal of the Section is the management of the organization΄s revenue and expenses according to the principles of the Public Accounting Law and the Internal Operation Regulation.
He worked for 5 years (2001-2006) in private sector as trainee Certified Auditor Accountant and tax consultant/auditor assistant in the tax/consulting and auditing department of Εrnst&Young SA and then for 16 years (2006-2022) in the Ministry of Finance (AADE from 2017) in sections of Public Tax Offices gaining significant experience in areas such as: Income-VAT-Hellenic Accounting Standards-Registry- Withholding Taxes -Real Estate Taxes-Temporary and Preventive Audit.
He has extensive experience as Senior or member of teams in audit and tax projects, in the organization and guidance of the working process, in the preparation of reports and financial statements and in the conduct of Temporary and Preventive Tax Audit.
He holds a BSc degree in Accounting and Financial Management from Athens University of Economics and Business and a MSc degree In Multinational Accounting and Financial Management from The University of Reading.
