ARGYRO SAKKI joined the new Hellenic Civil Aviation Authority in December 2021 and was appointed as Director of Aviation Security and Environmental Protection Division. The Division’s main goal is the regulation and oversight of aviation security sector as well as the regulation and supervision of civil aviation environmental issues.
She has worked for 30 years in the former Hellenic Civil Aviation Authority, firstly in the section of organization and development as well as of bilateral air transport agreements and since 2015 as head of section in the aviation security division.
She has represented Greece at numerous international and european meetings and working groups in the fields of her competence and is an aviation security inspector as well as a “national auditor” regarding EU air cargo security audits.
She holds a Law Degree from Athens University and she is also a graduate of the National School of Public Adiministration.
